How to Increase working speed of Windows 8.1

1. Minimum Requirement for Windows 8.1:

    • Processor. 1 gigahertz (GHz)* or faster with support for PAE, NX, and SSE2.
    • RAM. 1 gigabyte (GB) (32-bit) or 2 GB (64-bit)
    • Hard disk space. 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
(You can see your PC Processor & RAM by Type in Start → Search " PC Info ")


2. Cleanup Unwanted Files called Temp data

    Go to Start → Run (Win+R) & Type "cleanmgr"




   Click "OK"  Its will be shown as below Process :


 After Complet it, Its ask for select your cleanup filter by check mark, as below:


Then, Checkmark to your require unwanted data & Click on the Tab of OK 



It's will be processed as above & also take some minutes

2. Scan Drive for Errors: 

It help to scan whole drive for bad sector errors & system files corrupts errors

         Go to This PC (Explorer) > Right Click on C: Drive > Properties > 





Click on Tools Tab  >


Click on Check 



Click on Scan drive > Its will take some minutes to Complet


After completed click Close


Now, Restart your PC.

3. Defragment:   

You can optimize your drives to help your computer run more efficiently, or analyze them to find out if they need to be optimized. Only drives on or connected to your computer are shown.

                   Go:  Start - >  Type  Defragment and optimize your drives in Search & Open it.


Click on Analyze, & After Complete task Click on Optimize then wait a few minutes


4. Increase Visual Performance:

If Windows is running slowly, you can speed it up by disabling some of its visual effects. It comes down to appearance versus performance. Would you rather have Windows run faster or look prettier? If your PC is fast enough, you don't have to make this tradeoff, but if your computer is just barely powerful enough for Windows 7, it can be useful to scale back on the visual bells and whistles.

     By Click on Start  - > Type System on Search  - > You can find out System open it
     See, in the left panel that Advanced system settings  As below Picture:



Then Click on Settings as Below:



Its will prompt of Performance Option WindowChoose the Adjust for best performance:



You can also tick mark as per your requirement, I've configured my Selection is:


5. Virtual Memory :

Virtual Memory is a paging file as area on the hard disk that Windows uses as if it were RAM.

    In the Performance Option Window, Click on Advanced Tag on Upper side :


 Click on Change Button in Virtual Memory :


Uncheck mark on Automatically manage paging file size for all drives


Select D: & click on System managed size, Then click on Set tab as Below picture:


Repeat this on E: , & - > Click Apply & Ok then Restart your pc.
By this setting of paging file you can run High Utilized software on your PC.
